The third workshop of the HRZZ research project DLASIUT

From 24 to 28 June, the third workshop of the HRZZ research project “Development of Learning Agent-based Systems for Improved Urban Traffic Control” (DLASIUT) was held. The workshop was attended by members of the research team, experts from the industry and academic community, and students.

The public part of the workshop was held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and began with a welcoming speech by the Dean Assoc. Prof. Marko Šoštarić and project leader Prof. Edouard Ivanjko. After the introductory part, members of the research team presented their results achieved by working on the project, including a discussion with experts present at the workshop live or remotely.

The project team members used the other four days of the workshop for a more detailed review of the results achieved on the DLASIUT project in the recent year with the creation of guidelines for continuing work on the project. At the same time, foreign researchers on the project Prof. Daniela Koltovska-Nečoska (Faculty of Technical Sciences, St. Kliment Ohridski University – Bitola, Northern Macedonia), Prof. René Schumann (University of Applied Science Western Switzerland (HES-SO), Switzerland), and Prof. Ivana Dusparić (TCD, Dublin, Ireland) held a series of lectures to transfer knowledge within the scope of the DLASIUT project to the younger team members.

The official language of the workshop was English due to the participation of foreign scientists in the DLASIUT project.
