| Course description: Location, role and exploitation characteristics of transhipment equipment. Divisions and physical and technical characteristics
of the goods. Distribution of handling equipment. Productivity of transhipment equipment with continuous operation. Transporters.
Transporter designs. Calculation of productivity and required power for the drive. AGV systems. Loading and unloading equipment
with intermittent operation. General features of cranes. Technical and technological characteristics. Sorting cranes. Determination
of operating class, operating speeds. Small cranes. Large cranes. Manipulative vehicles and container carriers.
