Second Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ project: ELPT – Expert on Local Public Transport

On Thursday, 08 July 2021, the Second Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ project: ELPT – Expert on Local Public Transport took place. The meeting was organized by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, and in accordance with the current epidemiological situation, the meeting was held online via Webex platform. Representatives of partner organisations from four countries participated in this meeting: Cyprus, Italy, Slovenia, Spain.

Welcome 2020/21 Erasmus+ students

The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences welcomes foreign students and staff who participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme. We support study and traineeship mobility for students and teaching and training mobility for staff.


Students who wish to apply for a period of study at the Faculty must be nominated by their universities and must complete the application form available at the University of Zagreb’s webpage.

Prior to applying, students should consult with their institutional mobility coordinators and ECTS coordinators in order to select courses which they will be attending at the Faculty.


Nomination deadlines:

  • 10 May for the winter semester / academic year (extended to 15 May due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
  • 10 November for the summer semester


Application deadline for the winter semester / academic year is 1 June.

Accepted students will need a personal identification number issued by the Croatian Tax Authority for the enrolment procedure.

ERGONOMICS 2016 – Focus on Synergy – Review

We are happy to inform you that the 6th International Ergonomics Conference ERGONOMICS 2016 – Focus on Synergy took place from 15th to 18th of June 2016 in Zadar, Croatia, and it was held in a relaxed atmosphere of the Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, Borik.

The Conferences in this series have been organized by the Croatian Ergonomics Society (CES) every three years since 2001, and from 2016 is set to be organized every two years. Existing for more than four decades, CES have recognized the importance of knowledge and experiences exchange between scientists and experts, as well as in the broader population, which is now one of the most featured objectives of CES plans and strategy.

The 6th International Ergonomics Conference ERGONOMICS 2016 – Focus on Synergy that will take place from 15-18 of June 2016 in Zadar, Croatia. The Conferences in this series have been organized by the Croatian Ergonomics Society (HED) since 2001, this time it is a joint project with:

7th International Conference on Maritime Transport

Call

A call for abstracts for the 7th International Conference on Maritime Transport has been announced. Authors are requested to submit abstracts in English of no more than 300 words, emphasizing the topic, originality of the work, main results and possible application. The scientific committee will review all the papers presented. All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Conference location

Arranged by the Local Organising Committee, the MT ’2016 Conference will take place in Barcelona, Barcelona School of Nautical Studies, near the old city.

Relevant dates

Abstract submission – 17th November 2015
Provisional acceptance – 18th December 2015
Final paper submission – 19st February 2016

Modern Electrified Transportation 2015

Department of Railway Transport of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, in cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology, Institute of Electrical Machines, organized the 12th conference MET’2015 (Modern Electrified Transportation). The conference was held in Trogir, Croatia from the 4th to 7th October 2015. It included participants from the Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Technical University of Cracow, Poznan, Loggia, Gdansk and Silesia Kielce, University of Genoa, St. Pölten and Sarajevo, Croatian Railways Infrastructure and PKP Energetika, as well as railway industry representatives from Croatian, Poland, France, Czech Republic and Switzerland. The 32 presented scientific papers have been published in the proceedings of the conference. The MET conference is held every two years and this is the first time it was held outside of Poland.

PC Crash 2015 at the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Sciences

On September 25, 2015 the Department of Traffic Accident Expertise organised a crash test at the Bronogaj University Campus in cooperation with EVU Croatia. The test involved a collision between a personal vehicle and traffic signals and equipment. The test was just a part of the seminar during which the participants learned about the possibilities of using a quadcopter in traffic accident expertise, participated in Audatex software workshops and were presented research data collected by the department.
The PC Crash workshop is held yearly with the aim of educating and informing traffic accident experts on the latest developments in the field.
