Course description:
Introduction to the methodology for preparation of investment projects in transportation. Analysis of basic methods for evaluating investment projects in road traffic. Analysis of the methods for multi-criteria decision making with an emphasis on AHP method. Analysis of cost-benefit analysis and SWOT analysis. Defining main characteristics of the chosen methods, possibilities for their specific application and the correct interpretation of the results. Application of the relevant software package Expert Choice as support for AHP method. Application of MS Excel for cost-benefit analysis and parameters for dynamic approach to the assessment. Sensitivity analysis. Case study – evaluation of real road traffic project and selection of the optimal project by applying learned methods.
