Data Science
Department members of Intelligent Transport Systems prof. Tonči Carić, assoc. prof. Edouard Ivanjko, senior assistant Martin Gregurić, assistants Krešimir Kušić and Mladen Miletić and Young researcher Leo Tišljarić participated in the 4th Int’l Workshop on Data Science (IWDS2019). The workshop is traditionally organized by the Center of Research Excellence for Data Science and Advanced Cooperative Systems. The workshop was held on the 15th of October 2019 in the city of Zagreb, Croatia on the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. The plenary lecture was given by Niranjan Nagarajan, PhD from Genome Institute of Singapore entitled „Computational and Systems Biology”. Research activities of researchers participating in the Center of Research Excellence for Data Science and Advanced Cooperative Systems were presented at the workshop and a poster presentation was held.
Joint work of department members was presented on poster session:
- Leo Tišljarić, Tonči Carić: „Spatio-Temporal Traffic Anomaly Detection on the Urban Road Networks“
- Mladen Miletić, Krešimir Kušić, Martin Gregurić, Edouard Ivanjko: „Reducing the State-Action Complexity in Reinforcement Learning based Traffic Light Control using Self-Organizing Maps”
