Students from the Department of Intelligent Transportation Systems have been awarded the Rector’s Award for the academic year 2023/2024.
In the category of team scientific and artistic work (three to ten authors) in the field of technical sciences, students Dominik Knez, Marko Kukor, and Ante Dumnačić received the award for their project Visualization of Shortest Routes Based on Travel Time and Energy Consumption Criteria. The project was conducted under the mentorship of Prof. Tonći Carić, PhD, with direct supervision by Tomislav Erdelić, PhD. The project poster presents key features, while the web application developed as part of the project is available for review. Additionally, a video demonstration offers a detailed overview of the application’s functionalities.
In the category of socially beneficial work within the academic and wider community, in the field of social sciences, student Ante Šarić received the award for his project Organization of the Interdisciplinary Conference “Legislation in Transportation – New Challenges”, which he co-authored with colleagues from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Medicine.
