On February 3rd, 2025, Filip Vrbanić M.Sc. a member of the Deartment for Intelligent Transportation Systems, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled “Spatial-temporal variable speed limit control on motorways based on congestion detection and machine learning in connected and autonomous vehicles environment”. His mentors were Asst. Prof. Martin Gregurić, PhD, and Prof. Edouard Ivanjko, PhD. The examining committee included:
