Martin Gregurić was born on 24 January 1988 in Sisak, where he also completed his primary and secondary education (High school in Petrinja – Gymnasium program). In 2006 he started studying Traffic Engineering (course: Intelligent transportation systems and Logistics) at Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. He received Bachelor’s and Master degree in traffic and transport engenering, course: Intelligent transportation systems, in 2008. and 2011, respectively with master diploma thesis: Ramp metering with emphasis on its use to Zagreb bypass. In November 2011 he enrolled in the PhD study: Technological systems in traffic and transport at Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. According to decisions of Faculty council in July 2013 he was employed as the research assistant in the project: Intelligent Cooperative Sensing for Improved Traffic Efficiency, FP7-317671 ICSI. In December 2014. Faculty council approved his employment on associate position – assistant. He is involved in lectures in several courses on the undergraduate level and at graduate level. He received the University of Zagreb Rector award for his paper “Intelligent control of highway traffic flows with possibility of applying on the Zagreb bypass”. Also he received award “Best student paper of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Science in 2011.” and “Best graduate student in course Intelligent transportation systems in 2010”. He participated in international COST 1nd Training School, Autonomic Road Transport Support Systems: foundations & techniques in Paris-Marne La Vallée – France (From 21. May to 24. May 2013) and COST 2nd Training School, Autonomic Road Transport Support Systems: Behavioural Responses & Impact, Sofia – Bulgaria (From 9. September to 12. September 2014). Furthermore, he participated in short term scientific mission in HES-SO Valais-Wallis University, Switzerland.

In his work he actively uses computer program packages: MATLAB and Simulink, MS Visual Studio (programming language: C# and programing technology asp.NET), CUBE, basics of AutoCAD and 3ds Max. He speaks English language.
