“Application of Machine Learning for Traffic Control on Urban Motorways” lecture held

On September 22, 2017 at the Borongaj Science and Education Campus (facility 69, Hall 1, 13:00) Martin Gregurić, mag. ing. traff. held a lecture titled Application of Machine Learning for Traffic Control on Urban Motorways. The lecture was organized within the Research Seminar of the Science Excellence Center for Data Science and Cooperative Systems (Data Science Research Unit).

Assist. prof. Edouard Ivanjko briefly presented the work of the Faculty of Traffic and Transport Sciences (especially the work of the Department for Intelligent Transport Systems) as well as the Scientific center of excellence. After him, Martin Gregurić, mag. ing. traff. (Assistant at the Department of Intelligent Transport Systems) presented a part of the research on traffic management on urban highways with a special focus on ITS services: variable speed limit control and ramp metering.
