Members of the Department of Intelligent Transport Systems, prof. Tonči Carić, Ph.D., Juraj Fosin, Ph.D. and PhD students Martin Gregurić, Tomislav Erdelić, Krešimir Kušić and Martina Ravlić, participated in Second International Summer School on Data Science. The Summer School was organized by the Center of Research Excellence for Data Science and Advanced Cooperative Systems, from September 25-29, 2017 in Split, Croatia. Summer school was offered to graduate students, researchers and professionals in the area of data science. The program consists of lectures taught by outstanding researchers in the field and hands-on sessions, demonstrating practical aspects of deep learning. Subject of this summer school was machine learning with special focus on deep learning as an important tool in many data science applications.
