From 21st November 2016 HUSK (Croatian Air Traffic Control Training Centre) is in compliance with the requirements of the EU REG 2015/340 as ATCO Training Organization. HUSK has been awarded ATCO Training Organization certificate (HR.ATCOTO.01) by Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and received the approval to provide following types of training and courses:
- ATCO INITIAL TRAINING – BASIC TRAINING COURSE
- PRACTICAL INSTRUCTOR TRAINING – SYNTHETIC TRAINING DEVICE INSTRUCTOR (STDI) TRAINING COURSE
For the first time in Croatian aviation history one organization gained approval for the provision of ATCO practical instructor training. This achievement enables Croatian ATCO training organizations to train their new STDI instructors in Croatia. Successfully finished STDI training course allows candidates to gain STDI endorsement which is a prerequisite to provide practical training. At the same time, STDI training course is open for candidates from other training organizations and air navigation services.
