Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the 9th SESAR Innovation Days in Athens

The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences participated at the SESAR Innovation Days (SIDs) in Athens from December 2th till December 5th, 2019. The SIDs are the SESAR Joint Undertaking conference for disseminating results of its SESAR the most recent exploratory research projects, as well as the other ATM industry projects which gives an opportunity to transfer knowledge and to network professionals from this industry.

The Faculty was represented by Associate Professor Biljana Juričić, Assistant Professors Karolina Krajček Nikolić and Jurica Ivošević and teaching assistants Bruno Antulov-Fantulin, Petar Andraši and Tea Rogošić. The Faculty team had an opportunity to meet Mr. Philippe Debels and Mr. Dirk Schaeffer from EUROCONTROL and agreed to further cooperation and visit EUROCONTROL Experimental Centre in Bretigny in January 2020.

Professor Juričić and assistant Antulov-Fantulin had a poster presentation of the baseline results of the project Development of Common ATC Simulation Training Assessment Criteria Based on Future Pan European Single-Sky Targets (ATCOSIMA) with their partners from Eskişehir Technical University, Associate Professor Cem Çetek and Assistant Professor Fulya Aybek-Çetek.
