Department of Aeronautics hosts Olmsted Scholar

On 26th of October 2022, Department of Aeronautics had the honor to host LCDR Rory Yoder. LCDR Yoder is a U. S. Coast Guard Aviator and Aeronautical Engineer with 10+ years and 3,000+ flight hours of experience in military aviation, joint humanitarian operations, maintenance management, strategic planning, leadership, and process improvement. He is also pursuing graduate education in Zagreb, Croatia at the Faculty of Political Science as the U. S. Coast Guard’s fourth Olmsted Scholar. He met with the students of the Department of Aeronautics (military pilot, civil pilot and air-traffic control students) and gave a lecture on his professional experiences as a U.S. Coast Guard pilot.
