On December 12, 2024, a ceremonial commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the Croatian Air Force was held at the Lučko Air Force Base. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Croatia, the representative of the Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia and the Commander of the Croatian Air Force, while the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences was represented by the Dean Marko Šoštarić, the Head of the Department of Aeronautics Biljana Juričić, and a group of Aeronautics students, military pilot and military air traffic control module.
