Course description: The course focuses on the acquisition and practical use of traffic-related vocabulary and an examination of several representative
authentic texts, with the aim of allowing students to develop fundamental skills of reading critically. Emphasis is placed
on class discussions and active class participation. Students read more complex texts in the field of transportation further
developing their comprehension skills. New developments in the field of transportation are introduced by studying key terms,
summarizing and discussing the text, and independently exploring selected topics. More complex grammar is introduced with
the focus on elements that students will need in reading academic texts such as word order, questions and relative clauses.
