This Special Issue will provide a venue for publishing the latest research and developments in the area of complex communication ecosystems of future access enablers of ubiquitous and intelligent infrastructures. Extensive use of information and communication technologies has led to the development of various new concepts and paradigms such as the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence. Such concepts are used today in every environment, business, or private organization with the purpose of increasing business efficiency, development of new innovative services, and optimization of business processes. In such an ecosystem of interconnected elements and advanced communication between humans and machines, a great challenge is to achieve and retain the required level of security and privacy. Specific emphasis is on the presentation of research results in the field of security of innovative services and intelligent infrastructure in traffic transport logistic ecosystems.
