On 24 February 2026, the first QuGNOPs project kick-off meeting was held at DLR in Oberpfaffenhofen, bringing together German and Croatian partners and marking the official start of the project.
The German consortium includes representatives from DLR GfR mbH and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. The Croatian partners are the FER (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb), Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FPZ, University of Zagreb), CARNET - Croatian Academic and Research Network, and the Ruđer Bošković Institute (IRB).

Members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic actively participated in two international scientific conferences held simultaneously in Stará Lesná, Slovakia, from 8–10 October 2025:
These conferences gathered leading researchers and professionals from academia and industry to present the latest scientific and technological advances in the fields of intelligent infrastructures and manufacturing systems.

The activity was successfully carried out at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, within the Department for Information and Communication Traffic, 14 – 16 October 2025.
The study visit was organized at the request and for the needs of the Ministry of Economic Development of Montenegro, with financial support from the European Commission – DG Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood, Institution Building Unit (TAIEX).
The program included a series of presentations focused on professional training and knowledge exchange, as well as a field visit to Croatian Post (Hrvatska pošta).
