From July 1 to 3, 2024, members of the Department, Prof. Dr. Dragan Peraković and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ivan Cvitić, participated in a series of meetings and events in Dublin, Ireland, organized by IrelandQCI and PETRUS. These meetings focused on the coordination and implementation of national EuroQCI projects and, accordingly, gathered representatives from various national initiatives and members of the PETRUS working bodies (ETWG), which include Dr. Peraković and Dr. Cvitić.
The primary goal was to participate in an event that serves as a key platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences among leading experts in the field of quantum communications. As members of the PETRUS working bodies, the Department's members actively participated in workshops and discussions related to the standards, interoperability, and architecture of national QCI projects. This event also provided an opportunity to enhance international cooperation and a better understanding of the current challenges and practices in quantum communications, which are crucial for the successful implementation of the CroQCI project.
