Employees of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic (Assoc. Prof. Dragan Peraković, Ph.D., Siniša Husnjak mag.ing.traff. and Ivan Cvitić, mag.ing.traff.) participated in the conference FOI Security Symposium "FSEC" which took place from 14. to 16.09.2015. at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varazdin.
The objective of the participation was to gather new knowledge and current trends in the field of information security based on the practical experience of a large number of domestic and foreign experts like Felix Linder (Recurity Lab GmbH), Bob Beck (OpenBSD project), Vlatko Kosturnjaka (Diverto), Slavs Smojver (HNB) Miroslav Colophon (ZSIS), employees of PNUSKOK and many others.
The conference is held for the fifth year in a row, and covers a number of topics in the field of information security such as Internet crime in Croatia in terms of PNUSKOK, review of the areas of fraud related to Internet banking in Croatia, problems of ISIS / ISIL online activities, digital forensics as well as many others.
