Transport Optimization Group

Group web page

Optimisation is one of the most natural processes in the Universe related among others to advancement in human evolution. Human beings also apply optimisation principles to build useful and economically justifiable man-made objects and technologies that ease and help their communication and mobility. The transportation system is one of the most complex technological systems, and the transportation system and transport processes optimisation are the main aims of research of the Transport Optimisation Group (TOG). The goals of TOG are to advance the state-of-the-art in theory and applications of transport optimisation, and to encourage science-industry collaboration and transfer of technology from academia to industry to foster development of innovative optimisation solutions.
