#EUvsVirus is a Pan-European hackathon organized by the European Commission that took place from 24-26 April 2020. When selecting the best solutions, ideas were evaluated by 500 jury members, including Croatian experts. In the role of evaluator was Full Professor Dragan Peraković, the Head of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic.

Croatian university newspaper Universitas published an article related to the project application of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic in its latest 126th issue. The current focus is related to the development of a DDoS attack detection model for e-learning systems that will be able to distinguish an anomaly caused by an attack from network traffic in a timely manner due to the increased number of e-learning service requests.
