Students of Information and Communication Traffic and Intelligent Transport Systems won Rector’s Award

Students of graduate studies of information and communication traffic and intelligent transportation systems participated in the tender for Rector’s Award (academic year 2016./2017.). The award winners are students: Dijana Beganović, Josip Dankić, Matija Keleković and Ana Mežnarek with paper entitled Designing the functionality of information service for drivers with reduced and difficult communication possibilities in traffic environment. PhD thesis defense: Siniša Husnjak

The Department's member Siniša Husnjak has successfully defended his PhD thesis (mentor: Full Prof. Dragan Peraković, PhD) entitled Defining the Behavioral Patterns of Smartphone Users in Mobile to Wi-Fi Dana Traffic Offload at the University of Zagreb. The defense took place at the hall of Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences of University of Zagreb on May 10th 2017.

The impact of mobile device usage on drivers' behavior

The Department of Information and Communication Traffic of Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences obtained a project The impact of mobile device usage on drivers' behavior within the National Road Safety Programme of the Republic of Croatia, Section 7: Mobile phone; Subsection: a) Using mobile phone while driving. The project is conducted in cooperation with Croatian chamber of transport engineers (http://www.hkitpt.hr/).

The duration of the project: 1 year/starts from April 2017
