A new laboratory is established within the frames of Institute, the Laboratory for development and the application of information and communication assistive technologies. The main purpose of the laboratory is a development of ICT technologies and services in order to improve the quality and safety in mobility of persons with impaired and reduced mobility (također se može reći with difficulties in mobility) (the disabled, elderly and persons with impaired mobility).

The members of the department Ivan Forenbacher and Dragan Peraković along with Vesna Radonjić Đogatović from Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering of University of Belgrade, Serbia participated at the 13th International conference ZIRP held in Zagreb, Croatia on May 12th 2015. The paper entitled „Generic model to estimate total cost of ownership of cell phone plans in Croatia“ was presented and awarded as the best conference paper.
