Presentation of the CroQCI project at the THECUC 2023 conference

The members of the Department of Information and Communication Traffic, Prof Dragan Peraković and Assist. prof. Ivan Cvitić presented the Croatian Quantum Communication Infrastructure - CroQCI at the THECUC 2023 conference. The CroQCI project aims to implement experimental quantum communication systems and networks to create a highly secure communication environment for the European Union as part of the EuroQCI initiative.

The THECUC 2023 - Digital Transformation of Higher Education: Innovations for the Future of Learning & Teaching conference was organized by the Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNET and gathered more than 500 different participants.

Held guest lecture by Prof. Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo, Ph. D.

On October 30, 2023, we proudly hosted Prof. Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo, Ph. D.,  from the prestigious University of Texas in San Antonio, USA, at our premises.

Professor Choo delivered an inspiring guest lecture in the course 'Forensic Analysis of Information and Communication Systems,' conducted at the Department of Information and Communication Traffic. The lecture's topic, 'Interdisciplinary Approach to Cybersecurity Research and Resilience,' attracted an exceptionally large number of students and faculty members from the Faculty. It was an honor and privilege to be in the company of such an exceptional scientist who generously shared his wealth of knowledge with our students and Faculty.

Guest lecture by Prof Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo, Ph.D.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at ZUK Borongaj, building 71, hall 5, Prof Kim-Kwang Raymond Choo, Ph.D. from the University of Texas, San Antonio, USA, will hold a guest lecture on the course "Forensic Analysis of Information and Communication System".

The topic of the lecture will be "An interdisciplinary approach to cyber security and resilience research".

ALL STUDENTS of the Information and Communication Transport major, from the undergraduate and graduate studies Traffic, are required to attend the lecture.
